Wow, I'm sitting and writing this on my last day in Spain and on the last day of 2015. How cheesy is it to say that time is going by so fast? How many times have I already written that here on this blog?
2015 was a great year and I can't believe it's over. Here were several of the many highlights:
New Year's 2015
My best high school friends and I have been ringing in the new year together the past three years. We always do weird photo shoots with a self-timer, and end up looking ridiculous. The bottom picture is our representation of "backpack". This is the first time that we aren't together because I'm still in Spain, but I know next year will be great.

Welcome to New York
Before second semester started, I visited my friend Brittany in New York City. This was such an amazing weekend consisting of yummy food, amazing views, seeing the amazing Hugh Jackman perform and then literally being half a foot away from him as he signed our programs, and more awesomeness. This was supposed to become an annual thing, but then Brittany decided to go and study abroad in the spring. Thanks for ruining things, Britt. Jk jk.
I survived Juno 2015
My first snowstorm, first snow day, and first time sledding down steep streets on the cafeteria's food trays.

DDDAAAADDDD
My dad has visited the past two years over the long President's weekend/Valentine's Day. We ski, eat amazing food, and try not to struggle too hard as two native Californians in the land of snow and cold. In 2016, Annie and Eleanore are visiting me instead. It will probably be the same type of weekend minus the skiing, and add in more struggles against the cold.
This beauty.
Even though there is ugly snow in front.

Victory and Sun
The team traveled to Sacramento, California in April to race West Coast crews. I had one of my best college races, got to soak up some much needed sun after a horrible East Coast winter, and see my family after 4 months of separation.
Welcome to MY HOUSE!!
My friends and I signed the lease for this amazing house for senior year. We were all ready to move in right way, instead of waiting more than a year.
Victory and Pouring Rain
One of the wettest races of my career, my boat won our league championships after coming up from behind another crew.
Surprise!!
I went home for the summer for one day and then I headed to Disneyland to surprise Brittany for her 20th birthday.
Blazers and Crumpets
Every rower and coxswain's dream is go and race at the Royal Henley Regatta in England, and this summer I actually fulfilled that dream. I never thought I would get the chance to go and it was such an amazing experience. One day I want to go back as a spectator.
Love and Music
These are the two I count on to do anything with me. We celebrated the Supreme Court's decision on gay marriage, and rocked out at our second One Direction concert.
August 1, 2015
20! Celebrating with the best friends and the best cake ever.
New Favorite Place Ever
The summer ended with an amazing family trip to one of the most beautiful places ever, Montana. I would highly recommend that you drop whatever you are doing and immediately book a trip there. You will not regret it. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back.
And with that, we arrive at the ultimate highlight: studying abroad in Spain, with which you have all been following along. Thank you all for reading this blog the last four months. I plan to continue posting in 2016, but I'm sure as you've realized I'm not very consistent so feel free to check in every once in a while. I still have posts to write and post about Spain, and everything that is upcoming.
I'm really excited about 2016. I've made some big changes that will come into play in the next months and I'm ready to take this year by storm. 6 minutes left in 2015 according to Spanish time, here we go.
Adios 2015 y bienvenidos 2016.
Goodbye 2015 and welcome 2016/
